This coming Saturday, May 21st our junior skaters are taking on the junior skaters from St. Paul, Minnesota at home. In addition to the derby bout, IJRD will be helping to promote the new movie, “BLUE CRUSH 2”, set to be released on DVD June 7th. To help with the promotion we will be giving away a “Blue Crush 2” prize package. We will be collecting votes for your favorite skater. For a $1 you can purchase a vote. Before the end of the night, the prize package will be rewarded to the skater with the most votes. Votes can be purchased at the bout and if unable to attend family and friends can send their votes with someone to purchase at the bout for them. There will be no limit on the number of votes that can be purchased so start collecting those votes! The Twin City juniors are also being given the opportunity to join the drawing.
The Juniors are always around supporting the adult leagues and they are the biggest fans. Let's give a bit back to them, they are the future of Roller Derby for Indy. Now we just need one for the boys.
We definitely need one for the boys. It is too bad that they will not allow the younger boys to play with the girls. (Twin City does.)
