Hiya Race City Rebels!

I'm excited to watch you guys take on the TC Terrors in April (just be nice to my hubby Whiplash, eh?)!  While you're in town, I invite you to visit my store, Roller Revolution, a 1500 square foot roller derby pro shop in Northeast Minneapolis.

Any player mentioning Race City will get 15% off ANYTHING IN STOCK except handmade items (I consign artwork and jewelry by local skaters). That includes in-stock Riedell, the new Antik, Vanilla, or SureGrip boots or skate packages, helmets and gear by 187, Prodesigned, ProTec, Smith, Destroyer, Triple 8 and WHEELS GALORE! We also have derby shorts (for men and women), t-shirts, butt pads, skate bags and tools ... you get the picture.

We're at 1229 Tyler Street NE, Suite 110, Minneapolis. Store phone is 763-269-4469. My cell is 612-599-2771. Open 12-7 every Monday through Friday and 12-5 Saturday.

Hope to meet you!

Also find us on Facebook (Roller Revolution) and Twitter (RollrRevolution)!

Do with this as you will.

Can someone advise me on how this discount compares with discounts I could get around here on skate parts? I'm looking to get my own pair, finally, and I'd love to support things around here, but a discount is a discount at this point.

I would think that Anya and Diamond Skate or the Blaze would be pretty hard to beat.

The Blaze is owned by Michelle Poindexter (aka Rasputia) and is a roller rink located a bit north of Greenfield on Highway 9.  She is a Riedell Retailer and will order and sell to us skates and skate gear at cost.

You will NEVER find new Riedell products cheaper that you will get them from Rasputia.

The apparel might be a good thing to look at, though - it's hard to find in town to try on.

I plan on going to Derby 4 All while I am up there. Dirty Larry, TC Pivot, owns it. He is a great guy off the track and will take good care of you.

Larry is great and will make sure you get what's best for you.  I didn't like the way my wrist guards fit, either did he.  He opened EVERY package and had me try on every pair they had in stock until we found the ones he felt fit me the best.  At first I was skeptical but i LOVE them.
